Our team of specialist account managers span the whole of the UK and possess a wealth of experience in handling many types of different clients.

Many of our clients are large and often require complex insurance solutions that require covers from multiple insurance companies to adequately and economically cover the risk. This often requires the skills of an insurance professional to review and understand the differences between the policy covers that each insurer offers.  It can be a minefield, and this is where the benefits come from using an insurance broker.

At Bollington, we will endeavour to allocate the best suited Account Manager to align with your business and your bespoke requirements.

We will often be able to provide account management services through a local individual in your region.  This means that we can hold face to face appointments and gives you the opportunity to discuss your business at your convenience at your premises.  This allows us to get a good understanding of your business and understand fully how your business operates.  Only then, will this provide us with the knowledge we need to approach Insurers on your behalf.

As a diverse team of insurance specialists, we can operate across a variety of vertical sectors.  This can include anything from property and construction to funeral directors and leisure parks.

Whatever sector you operate in, you can be confident that we are a broker that will work hard to find you the best insurance solution to suit your business.

We appoint a dedicated team to manage your account

You’ll have an appointed account manager – who really gets to grips with your business – championing your business’ interests and securing best value from Insurers.  All of our Account Managers are supported by a dedicated account handler to make sure the day to day running of the account runs without a hitch.

The team you meet at the outset will manage your insurance portfolio and provide continuity of service.  They will be on hand to assist you throughout the year – not just at renewal time.  You will have direct access to those individuals and all their contact details including email addresses and direct dial/mobile numbers.

We have strong relationships across a wide variety of Insurers and not a tied agent to any of them.  This means our advice is independent. Not all brokers are. Often the insurance solution we offer our clients is across multiple Insurers to get the best fit for your business.

We identify and evaluate the type and extent of risks you face

Risks are not always visible. Therefore, we find offering an account managed service works well because this gives us the opportunity to fully understand your business.

Where appropriate, we will introduce our Risk Management team to assist with minimising risk within your business with a view to making your business safer place to work and hopefully reduce your premium in the longer term.  This can also make your business more attractive to a wider set of Insurers and help drive your premiums down.

On occasion, we can gain support from the Insurer with bursaries available in some circumstances.

We create bespoke solutions that eliminate, reduce or insure them in a way that off-the-shelf products can’t begin to match.

We have support teams of professional experts

Our business has grown in recent years and employ around 450 staff.

We are well-placed to offer access to many services that are operated within the Group.  We have our own Risk Managers operating throughout the UK.  We have a dedicated claims team that work in the best interests of our clients.

In addition to the core insurance offering, we can also assist with Group Life/Death in Service, Private Medical and Trade Credit Insurance (plus credit reports and debt recovery solutions).

We are accredited Investors in People. Our policy of continuous training through various professional bodies (such as CII, Aviva Development Zone and BIBA) has led to low staff turnover, so our support teams get to know your business as well.
