Bollington has always looked to support aspirational people: those who work hard, show dedication and commitment to achieving more, and those who strive for success. That’s why we have insured tens of thousands of business people – from all walks of life – in over 40 years of trading; to provide them with the stability they need to maintain and grow their business, and encourage their employees to flourish, too.
Along the way, we have shown genuine innovation in developing products to meet our client’s needs, supported by scores of staff who show continually demonstrate high levels of professionalism and a strong focus on client support.
Bollington is proud to support those who aim for the highest standards, to help them to genuinely reach the best of their ability. 2016 sees us continue our partnership with Tyrrell Hatton, the young golfer from Marlow, Buckinghamshire, who has shot through the world golf rankings in recent years to establish himself as one of the finest young prospects in the country, breaking into the world’s top 100 and aiming to further his success over the next couple of years.
This year, we have also partnered with 31-year-old Kelly Massey, the Commonwealth and European bronze-medal winning 400m runner, who spoke to all of our staff during our annual Communications Day in December 2015. An inspirational athlete, Kelly works hard to remain at the top of her game, and will be sharing her experiences with us – from her training schedule, through to competitions – during the course of the 2016 athletics season.
Bollington also supports local sports clubs, with ties to the communities we work within.
We have an ongoing relationship with Poynton Football Club, the 2015 winners of both the Stockport Cup and Youth Cup. The original Poynton Amateurs Football Club was founded in 1883, and Poynton FC is still going strong 133 years later! With strong foundations, including a recently established youth team (providing a link between the successful junior football teams and the main football team), the club is at the heart of Poynton’s sporting community.
Bollington is also proud to support Altrincham Kersal Rugby Football Club. Another club with a long history – stretching back to 1897 – the setup boasts three senior teams, a vets team, two girls teams and a senior women’s team, alongside no fewer than 10 junior and youth teams spanning under 7s through to under 19s.
We hope to help our talented athletes to reach greater heights throughout their respective seasons, and wish them great success this year.
