What is Motor Trade insurance?
Motor trade insurance or “traders insurance” gives you full cover if you’re buying and selling vehicles either from your home or from business premises. It also provides cover if you repair and service vehicles, offer a roadside breakdown service or fit tyres. There are two types of motor trade insurance policies: road risks or combined. Both provide different levels of cover. We provide motor trade insurance for thousands of motor trade businesses of different sizes.
Types of Motor Trade insurance
Motor trade insurance is available to anybody who runs a business – for profit – within a motor trade. It is specifically for this purpose – it is not a personal vehicle insurance policy.
You will therefore need to provide evidence that you are running a motor trade business to be eligible for motor trade insurance
