Paul Moors to be 'jailed' on 6th March – in aid of The Christie

Bollington Insurance Brokers’ CEO, Paul Moors, has pledged to take part in an event called ‘Lock Up Your Boss’, taking place at Manchester Police Museum on Thursday 6th March, where staff and clients of Bollington will be encouraged to contribute to his bid to raise £1,500 in exchange for seeing him imprisoned for a whole morning for one of his workplace ‘crimes’.

The Background to the Fundraising

In April of last year Barry Thompson, the chairman of the Insurance Institute of Manchester, launched ‘Barry’s Project 150’. The aim of the project is to raise £150,000 for a new high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) room as part of the Young Oncology Unit at The Christie, Manchester. The room will allow teenagers and young adults under cancer treatment to stay in a safe environment, with an extra bed provided for a family member to stay with them.

Prior to the 'Lock Up Your Boss' event, Bollington will be holding an internal fundraising event to give its staff the opportunity to donate money to this very worthy cause.

Paul has a JustGiving page at www.justgiving.com/Paul-Moors, where anybody who is interested can contribute to his fundraising activity. All donations will be very gratefully received.
