And she is joined at Bollington by former FM Green account managers Gary Cotterell and Adrian Bridges, who rejoin Bollington after a six-year hiatus via Ernest R Shaw.

Brookes, who brings over 16 years of experience in motor trade insurance to Bollington, also arrives from E R Shaw, where she acted as New Business & Servicing Director for over a decade.

She will lead Bollington’s nationwide team of motor trade account managers and maintain responsibility for driving ambitious new business sales growth in this division.

Cotterell has worked in insurance since 1980, and counts experience as a commercial development underwriter at General Accident amongst his roles before his previous stint at Bollington, who took over former employer FM Green in 2006.

Finally, Bridges brings 30 years of broking experience back to Bollington, having previously worked at the company until 2009.

These appointments follow hot on the heels of the arrivals of Leon Fung and Marcus Hewston on the motor trade account management team.

Commenting on her appointment, Brookes said, “It is great to join Bollington at a time of expansion for the group.

“I am confident that the addition of Gary and Adrian to an already strong team will help to advance business growth to the next level.”

Bollington CEO Paul Moors added, “With the appointment of Pauline Brookes as Commercial Development Manager, we are cementing our reputation as a major motor trade insurance broker.

“And with Adrian Bridges and Gary Cotterell rejoining us, we are making a statement of our intent to further grow our motor trade business and ensure motor traders in all areas of the UK can benefit from high quality account management.”
