Bollington Supporting Charities In Aviva Community Fund

Aviva Community Fund

Bollington Insurance is pleased to announce that we are supporting a selected number of charity clients in their quest for income from the Aviva Community Fund, with five different projects receiving our backing.

Our care and charity account managers have worked alongside their clients to help them promote their causes, as they look to secure funding from Aviva for the important work that each charity does within their communities.

What is the Aviva Community Fund?

Open to everyone - Aviva customers, employees, insurance brokers or financial advisers and the general public - the Aviva Community Fund invites charities to tell them what a difference these much-needed funds could make by submitting their projects for consideration.

Get enough votes from friends, family and supporters in the community, and these projects could be entered into the Finals, where a judging panel will award the funds.

You can find out more about each of the causes we are supporting by following the links to the charity's projects below, where you can also register your details to vote.

Which charities are supported by Bollington?

The projects backed by Bollington include:

Good News Family Care - This local charity - based in Buxton, just a few miles down the road for our Cheshire offices - is looking for additional funding to run a Creative Wellbeing Group, supporting women and families who have suffered from abuse or troubled backgrounds.  Find out more about their project and vote for them here:

Emmaus North East - There are currently 28 Emmaus Communities operating successfully across the UK, but there is not currently a facility in the North East - with your help, there soon will be!  Emmaus supports formerly homeless people in rebuilding their lives, offering them a secure place to stay as well as well as gainful employment.  Find out why Emmaus North East needs funding to finish converting a derelict old children's home into a new home for up to 20 people, and vote for them here:

They are looking to fund their 'Moving On Up' programme, and to also gain funding for a Children's Group Work Coordinator.  Find out more about their work and vote for each submission through the links below:
