Bookings have been opened for fleet operators and suppliers wishing to attend the 2016 Fleet Safety Conference, organised by road safety charity Brakes.
Taking place at St John's Hotel, Solihull on 26 May 2016, the conference provides an opportunity for fleet professionals to hear about key road safety issues from leading experts, according to Brakes.
Road safety is an issue that constantly affects the fleet and car dealer industry, prompting the introduction of much of the sectors' legislation. Car dealers are required to protect themselves and their consumers during test drives and repairs with a regularly updated road risks insurance policy.
The conference will also include best practice presentations by organisations pioneering fleet safety measures, as well as discussions on topical issues including engaging drivers with safety and managing high-risk drivers.
According to Ellie Pearson, Brake professional engagement manager, the event is now well-established in the fleet community as a reliable source of the latest best practice, as well as an important networking opportunity for industry professionals.
She added: "The conference is an ideal opportunity for anyone with responsibility for managing at-work drivers to hear from the best of the best about successfully managing road risk in their organisations."
