Car garage celebrates 5,000th Motability sale

Bristol Street Motors Ford Bolton has celebrated the sale of its 5,000th Motability car, with long standing customer Harry Fernside completing the landmark deal.

Mr Fernside has been a customer at the Bolton car dealership since it was certified as a Motability franchise 10 years ago, and has become the garage's 5,000th sale with the purchase of his fourth vehicle.

As a dedicated Motability dealership, Bristol Street Motors has had to adapt a number of its sales procedures to ensure it provides customers with a service suited to their needs. Many car garages offering specialist services also have to regularly update their motor trade insurance policy to ensure it protects sellers and buyers of specially adapted cars.

Bristol Street Motors' customers are looked after by a team headed by Motability specialists Mike Donovan and Nathaniel McDonald, who offer a range of services including adapted courtesy cars and specialist Motability technicians.

General manager of Bristol Street Motors Ford Bolton, Darren Murray, has revealed that the car garage is "delighted" to have reached the milestone of 5,000 sales, and hopes to keep customers returning by prioritising customer service.

He said: "We have one of the largest Motability fleets in the country, so our team can always find the perfect Motability adapted vehicle to meet each and every person's individual requirements, as well as a number of specially modified courtesy vehicles."
