Expanding group opens new Nissan dealership

A Scottish car dealership has created 20 jobs after opening a new Nissan showroom.

The Eastern Western Motor Group’s new facility in Halbeath, Dunfermline, is the second new Nissan dealership that the company has opened this year. It opened the first in Stirling in the spring and it also operates a Nissan dealership in Edinburgh.

Naturally, among the many considerations that must be made when a business expands its business is whether its motor trade insurance quote is still providing the best possible cover for the best possible price.

The Dunfermline dealership is based at an old showroom which has been developed into a modern centre. Rather than the traditional showroom, the new dealership is focused on customer comfort, with fresh coffee, an iPad station and ‘halo’ displays above some of the vehicles for sale.

Neil Johnson, who is dealer principal for both the new centre and the Stirling showroom, told the Dunfermline Press: “The showroom looks fantastic – it really stands out compared to other brands and I think customers will love it.

“It’s modern, functional and a great way of showing off the fantastic range of models we have on display, like the UK’s most popular crossover, the Nissan Qashqai.”

He said the group had invested “heavily” in the new showroom because of its confidence in the Nissan brand.
