Luxury car dealership HR Owen has launched classic car servicing at its North London aftersales department near Wembley.
The dealer groups now offers classic car customers fixed-price servicing and repairs for all Ferrari models under the leadership of technical manager and former Ferrari factory technician Attilio Romano, and service manager Tony Vaccaro.
Classic cars require specialist care and attention to keep them in good condition, and car garages have to go the extra mile to ensure they are prepared to offer appropriate levels of care if they move into the classic car sector. This includes the updating of road risks insurance and motor trade insurance policies to cover classic cars, providing protection for the car dealer and classic car customers.
According to Mr Vaccaro, the garage will continue to work on new luxury models such as the latest LaFerrari alongside classic models, including a Ferrari 250.
Commenting on the brand's move into classic cars, Mr Vaccaro said: "We have looked after Ferraris from across the world for over 40 years and the cars that are now classed as classic were maintained by us when new. Having that experience in-house means we are best placed to look after any classic Ferrari as we know the cars inside out."
