Jaguar Land Rover UK has launched a new approved used-car programme providing vehicles under five years old with fewer than 100,000 miles.
Included in the new programme is a two-year unlimited mileage warranty, a consequential damage warranty of up to the purchase price of the vehicle, and independent history and mileage check to ensure each car is up to the company's high standards.
As with any other used-car trader, it is likely that any car dealership selling vehicles under the new JLR approved used-car programme will be covered by a road risks insurance policy. Such policies provide protection for dealers and mechanics to drive the vehicles as part as their day to day work.
According to Car Dealer Magazine, JLR have also provided additional protection to new approved used-car owners with the offer of MoT cover and seven-day complimentary drive-away insurance.
Jeremy Hicks, managing director of Jaguar Land Rover UK, believes the company's new programme will demonstrate their commitment to customers and offer a competitive alternative to already established user-car programmes provided by other car companies.
"Whether buying a new car for business or for personal use, or from our enhanced Approved Used scheme, we are confident the service standards we’ve set ourselves are highly competitive and highly desirable," he said.
