A new car garage has opened in the Cambridgeshire village of Witchford and it is hoping that success will be just round the corner.
Ely Auto Care is located in Newman Park, Sedgeway and it has room for 26 cars to be stored on site. As well as its large workshop area, the garage boasts a customer lounge and reception and has already gained membership to the Good Garage Scheme to show its commitment to providing a quality service.
Signing up to the Good Garage Scheme is just one of the tasks the car repair centre will need to have made prior to opening its doors for business. Another is getting the best motor trade insurance quote it can find to protect all of the equipments, tools and parts it stores on sites while also getting cover for customers' vehicles that are left in the company's care and also protection for the building itself, in case these things should be damaged or stolen.
A spokesperson from Ely Auto Care said that the garage had not taken any shortcuts in its preparation though; in fact, they said that the managers had spent two years "scouring the market" for the right place to open the business, the Ely Standard reported.
The spokesperson added: "We have brand new and top of the range equipment to give our mechanics the tools they need to give your vehicle the very best care.
"Our head mechanic has over 20 years experience and is a director of the company which ensures your vehicle is in the best hands, we guarantee all our work."
