Bollington to sponsor IVR Gala Dinner

The IVR Group

Bollington Insurance is pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring the Institute of Vehicle Recovery (IVR) annual gala dinner on Saturday 4th March.

Taking place this year at the Crowne Plaza in Stratford-upon-Avon, the dinner follows the IVR's Annual General Meeting, bringing together members of the Institute from across the country to take part in this significant event.

The IVR is the administrator of the Highways Agency Scheme for the training and registration of roadside assistance and vehicle recovery technicians, with the aim of helping to ensure those working at the roadside are kept safe by not only providing recognised qualifications, but also consulting with the government on legislative changes that may affect those working in the sector.

Bollington has a longstanding reputation for providing good quality and affordable insurance for recovery operators, insuring vehicles (including customers' vehicles in transit), liabilities (including employers' liability, public liability, product liability), business premises, tools and stock, with a class-leading telematics product to help recovery operators track their vehicles and driver activity also available.

Pauline Brookes, UK Motor Trade Manager at Bollington, said: "We are proud to support the IVR, whose valuable work means that people providing roadside assistance are fully aware of the dangers involved, while the IVR also look to ensure that workers are protected by government legislation to make the job as safe as possible.

"Our goals align with the IVR, as our insurance aims to affordably protect industry members across the board. We also encourage product innovation and choice - as the demands placed on recovery operators change, so does our insurance offering.

"It is a privilege to sponsor the Gala Dinner, which looks sure to be a great evening for everybody involved in the Institute. We we very much look forward to meeting with the IVR's members and helping them to celebrate their continued success."
