Bollington verified as Top 50 broker in insurance press

Top 50

Bollington Insurance has been verified as a Top 50 broker by Post magazine in 2016 - and also appears in Insurance Age's Top 100 Brokers and Top 100 Independent Broker lists.

Bollington is pleased to confirm it has been separately verified as one of the largest insurance brokers in the UK in two separate leading insurance publications during 2016.

Post Magazine's Top 50 Brokers rates Bollington as the 45th largest broker in the UK, while Insurance Age separately lists Bollington among the fifth highest banding in its Top 100 Brokers list.

Each respective industry publication looks at the size of the broker including a top-line figure of each broker's written premium, and also lists number of offices, staff numbers and lines of business.  In the case of both Post and Insurance Age magazines, only the largest brokers by gross written premiums enter into their listings.

"You might not realise the size of Bollington if you only deal with one part of our business," says Rachel Aston, Marketing and Communications Director, "yet we have consistently been among the largest brokers in the UK over the last decade.

"We cover everything from care and charity organisations to motor traders; from tradespeople, shops and bars to large corporate entities with multiple properties.

"Whether it's personal or business insurance, our aim across the board is always to provide the best level of service and the widest range of products possible to our clients, and our coverage of niche insurance markets means that we can often deliver solutions where other brokers might struggle.

"Additionally, our Investor in Customers 'Outstanding' status independently verifies that not only are we are a large broker, we also offer a personal service that is tailored to the needs of our clients."

Bollington has plans to grow further through 2017, extending its customer base through various initiatives including an ambitious new partnership with Sale Sharks, who have recently launched their '100 Club' project with Bollington's support.
